Where to Start?
There is no login in wandering. Your first goal in Fish It is to maximize your money and XP. This will help you to level up. You have to unlock Level 200 fast in Fish It. This can be done by catching rare fish. So here is an accurate roadmap that will speed your progression journey.
📍Fisherman Island – The Starter Hub
Fisherman Island is the starter island from where you will start your fishing journey. This place is also your default home, where you will respawn after dying. The island has different shops like Rod Shop, Bobber Shop, NPC fisherman selling boats, a travelling trader, and Rod Skin shop. Below is the Fisherman Island Fish Index.
- Difficulty: Easy
- Best For: Unlock the first 50 Levels.
- Key Fish: Common Starter Fish.
When you start, do not leave the island. This area is best for farming coins for beginners. Move when you reach Level 50 with a decent rod. Like a Carbon or Fast Rod, so that you can catch better fish on other islands. Or else strong fish will snap your line.
📍Tropical Grove – Cheap Boat Ride
- Difficulty: Easy / Medium
- Best For: Unlock the next 50 Levels.
- Key Fish: Thresher Shark (Mythic) & Great Whale (Secret)
Tropical Grove is visible from Fisherman Island. You can buy a cheap boat and reach there. This is the next step for beginners when they start exploring. Fishes here are sold at a higher rate compared to Fisherman Island. Try farming Orange Basslet and Raccon Butterflyfish for a steady income.
📍Kohana Island & Volcano – Road to 1st Mythic
- Difficulty: Medium
- Reward: Lava Rod
- Key Fish: Magma Shark (Mythic – 1 in 200k) & Blueflame Ray (Mythic)
Kohana is a fiery island where you will fish in lava. It is a little far from Fisherman Island, and third third-best spot to speed up your progression. You will also travel here to complete a simple quest. You have to talk to an NPC Fisherman, who will give you a Lava Rod. To catch the mythic Magma Shark, you will need a Magma Rod to handle the heat. Your regular rod line will snap instantly.
After exploring the first three islands, you will be proficient enough to learn Fish It mechanics. You can then travel to Esoteric Depth, where you can find more rare catches. Go to the island with the large stone cave entrance (visible from the main hub). Inside, look for the Gatekeeper NPC near an elevator door. You must pay him 400 Coins to descend into the Esoteric Depths.
You need the Fish Radar and the Crescent Artifact. Use the radar in the jungle to find hidden levers and the artifact. Once you have the artifact, approach the large stone door to open the “Underground Cellar.”
If an update just dropped, but you don’t see the new island, you are likely in an Old Server. Leave the game and rejoin to force Roblox to load a fresh server with the new map update.
