The new Pirate Cove Island update has arrived in Fish It, bringing new mysteries and prep work for the massive “Depth Update” dropping on January 18.

To get ready, you need to find the Carpenter NPC. He is standing at the left end of the dock area. When you speak to him, he will assign you a mission: Find 4 TNT barrels to blast open the sealed cave entrance. Unlocking this area now is crucial so you can start fishing immediately when the new depths unlock.
All Four TNT Locations at Pirate Cove Island
The TNTs are placed on top of wooden barrels scattered across the island. They are fairly easy to spot if you know where to look.
TNT 1: Head to the Rusty Platoon shop on the left side of the dock area. The first TNT is sitting near the wooden house on the right.
TNT 2: Continue walking toward your right until you reach the end of the path, where it curves slightly left. Look for a tall, vertical wooden building; the TNT barrel is right below it.
TNT 3: This one is easy to miss. Check right next to the Merchant Shop to find the third explosive.
TNT 4: Walk toward Captain Jones. There is a cave located directly behind him—the final TNT is hidden there.
Preparing for the Depth Update
Once you have collected all four TNTs, return to the sealed cave entrance near the Carpenter to blow open the passage. While the entrance opens, the massive door inside remains locked until January 18.
In the meantime, you should upgrade your gear to handle the new deep-sea fish. We highly recommend you unlock the Element Rod or try to obtain the rare Ghostfinn Rod for the best results.
