Welcome to the definitive roadmap for conquering Roblox Fish It. This guide is designed to take you from your first cast on Fisherman Island to wielding the god-tier Astral Rod in the Esoteric Depths. Reaching the Master level demands a lot of grinding. To give you an idea, here is a griding calculator. This tool shows the amount of fish you will need to catch, along with upgrades required to reach endgame.

Noob to Pro Roadmap

The above roadmap will give you an idea of what the guide is all about. The core part of the entire grinding process is fishing. The more you fish, the higher the chances you have of getting secrets. Here is a phase-by-phase breakdown of how to approach the master level in the Roblox Fish It game.

Phase 1: The Rookie (0 – 900 Coins)

• Goal: Establish early cash flow and get your first upgrades.
• Location: Fisherman Island (Starter Island).
• Fishing: For 30 mins to 1 hour.

Start fishing immediately. Don’t forget to redeem the latest codes for a head start on coins. Once you hit 800 coins, buy the Luck Rod (+50% Luck, Cost: 350) and Topwater Bait (+8% Luck, Cost: 100). Continue fishing at Fisherman Island with your new gear. Catch 20-30 fish to earn another 800-900 coins.

Pro Tip: Always sell your fish at the merchant before leaving an island to maximize inventory space.

Phase 2: The Kohana Grind (900 – 55k Coins)

• Goal: Unlock the Lava Rod and complete early quests.
• Location: Kohana Volcano
• Fishing: 30 mins to 2 hrs.

Purchase a Carbon Rod and a Small Boat before leaving Fisherman Island. Carbon Rod will cost 900, and the boat will cost 300 coins. Next, fish at the dock for some time and then enter the volcano. Speak to the Fisherman inside the volcano. You need to unlock the Lava Rod (30% Luck, 2% Speed, 100kg Weight). Be careful not to touch the lava, or you will die! Fish here for 30 minutes straight.

Do not leave until you catch 3 Rare fish. Catch around 150-200 Fish, and you will be able to complete this task with the Lava Rod. You will earn 15k – 18k coins by selling the fish, and there are high chance of catching an Epic Fish.

Return to Fisherman Island. Now you will have enough money to buy Lucky Rod and Midnight Bait. Fish for another 30 mins at Fisherman Island. Catch around 300 to 350 fish. Selling them will give you around 50 to 55K coins.

• Lucky Rod: 140% Luck & 7% Speed. 15K Coins.
• Midnight Bait: 22% Luck. 3K Coins.

Phase 3: The Mid-Game Surge (55k – 437k Coins)

• Goal: Rod Upgrades + High Volume Fishing
• Location: Fisherman Islands.
• Fishing: 1 hour to 8 hours.

Continue fishing at Fisherman Island for 1 hour, changing dock spots frequently. Changing spots can sometimes help refresh the spawn RNG. You may catch Enchant Stones here. Use a Radar (if available) to preview fish spawns. Your target here should be to catch 600 to 700 fish. Selling them will bring in 100k to 110k coins. After having the coins, buy Midnight Rod and Nature Bait.

• Midnight Rod: 100% Luck & 10% Speed. 50K Coins.
• Nature Bait: 45% Luck. 83.05K Coins.

After having the rod upgraded, continue fishing for the next 2 hrs at Fisherman Islands. With high luck, you will catch a legendary fish. After 2 hrs of fishing, you can sell all the fish and earn around 100k to 120k coins. Now get a Jetski and go to Kohana Islands. Fish at the docks (not volcano) for 4 hours. This will give you 1500 to 1800 fish with a lot of legendaries in it. Selling them will bring in 300K to 400K coins. Now you have enough money to buy the Steampunk Rod.

• Steampunk Rod: 225% Luck & 19% Speed. 215K Coins.

Fish at Volcano for 2 hours to fill your Fish Index, though returns are lower (~200k coins). You can skip this part and move ahead with catching more rare fish.

Phase 4: High Tier Hunting (Lost Isle & Sisyphus)

• Goal: Unlock Mythic rods and farm the Sisyphus Statue.
• Location: Lost Isle, Sisyphus Statue, Treasure Hall
• Fishing: 6 to 10 hrs

Before travelling, buy Chrome Rod and go to Lost Isle. Her,e fishing for 1.5 to 2 hours will give you 200k to 215k cons. After that, purchase the Diving Gear that will cost around 75k and swim underwater.

• Chrome Rod: 280% Luck & 23% Speed. 437K Coins.

The hidden location has three areas, one of which is Sisyphus, the second is the Angler Rod room, and the third one is further deep down, which takes you to the Treasure Hall. Angler Rod will cost 8M coins; this is not our goal for now. But you can remember this spot and come back when you have enough money. Go to the Treasure Room and fish there for 3 – 4 hours. You will catch some rare mythics here.

Then move to the Sisyphus Statue. Here fish again for 6 to 7 hours, and you can catch around 3.5k fish. Selling them will bring in 600k to 700k coins. There are high chances of getting some rare mythic fish at this spot.

Phase 5: God Mode (Astral & Enchants)

• Goal: Obtain the Astral Rod and perfect your enchantments.
• Location: Multiple
• Fishing: 8 to 10+ hrs.

Once you have 1M+ coins, buy the Astral Rod. This rod has one of the highest base luck stats in the game. Travel to Esoteric Depths. Pay the 400 coin elevator fee to descend. Go to the enchanting altar. Place enchant stone until you get Empowered I. This enchant adds +20% Luck and +10% Reel Speed. You may need multiple attempts to roll this.

• Astral Rod: 400% Luck & 43% Speed.

Fish at Esoteric Depths for the next 10 hours. You can catch around 4k to 4.5k fish here if you do not give up. Many of your catches will include mythic, legendary fish, etc. You can now easily make around 800k to 900k coins. So upgrades are not an issue here.

Phase 6: The Collector (Secrets & Mastery)

• Goal: Catch the rarest “Secret” fish in the game.
• Location: Multiple
• Fishing: 10+ hrs.

Purchase Dark Bait for 630k coins. Now you have a God Mode setup. You can now fulfill your quest of catching secret fish. Go to Tropical Grove and fish there for 8 to 10 hours straight. There are high chances you will catch around 3 rarest mythic fishes here, like the Thresher Shark.

• Dark Matter Bait: 160% Luck, 5% Bonus XP & 5% Shiny Chance.

After fishing at Tropical Grove, your next stop is Coral Reefs. Spend around 2 hrs here, and you can grab the Monster Shark, which has a 1 in 2.5 million chance. A very rare one to catch. Spend around 4-5 hours at Crater Island to get more rare fish. Some Secret fish only spawn after long, continuous fishing sessions (8-12 hours). Patience is key.
