How to buy boats?
To purchase a boat, you will have to talk to an NPC on Fisherman’s Island. He is standing near the main dock. You can get a basic boat at the start, which will travel extremely slowly. But as you progress, make sure to purchase a Jetski early in the game. Due to its speed, you can travel farther distances in less time. It can be kind of boring to row a slow boat in the ocean.
Fisherman Island is also the starter island. Whenever you die in the ocean, you will spawn back to the starter island. You can get more boat varieties on different islands.
